Our Story
New Leaf Painting exists to bring top quality paint refinishing to homes and small businesses across the Niagara Region. Exterior or interior, we specialize in changing “I’m so tired of looking at that old paint.” to “Wow! It looks brand new!” One project at a time, we assess the specific needs of each project, develop a plan, and bring new life to the space.
New Leaf Painting was launched by Mitch Blais in March of 2022 after years of commercial and industrial paint work. Looking to move away from the harsh products necessary for industrial work and seeking more personal, friendly interaction, Mitch decided to launch his own painting business in the residential painting sector. Bringing paint application experience from a wide variety of projects alongside a desire to treat each client like family, New Leaf Painting is the ideal choice for your next painting project!
Currently New Leaf Painting specializes in exterior residential painting, but we’re more than happy to refinish any surface inside or outside of your home or small business. After years of working on large commercial and industrial projects, Mitch has all the experience necessary to handle the unique challenges of exterior painting, and is happy to bring his skills to your home!

We don’t misdirect, misinform, or misrepresent situations to any of our clients, period. If a situation comes up that’s outside our field of experience, we’ll tell you. If a surface should be replaced instead of refinished, we’ll tell you. If we damage something on site, we’ll tell you and take care of repair or replacement. After all, we are held to a standard higher than ourselves, and everything done in the dark will one day be brought to light.
